If it's temples you are after, you will find them everywhere, but in north and central India, you will be truly spoilt for choice. Nearby you can enjoy the most graceful Mughal splendor in Fatehpur Sikri and Agra, home to the Taj Mahal, before exploring the captivating collection of Mughal forts of Rajasthan, including Jaisalmer, the vision of Arabian Nights desert fortress.
