The most sacred river Ganga, descended from heaven to earth at Gangotri when lord Shiva unlocked her from his matted hair. Kedarnath

Kedarnath: Kedarnath is the temple where devotees witness one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple is built of large stone slabs and stands in front of the majestic Kedarnath peak. It is located in the Garhwal range near the Mandakini River. After Yamunotri and Gangotri, Kedarnath is the en-route shrine of Chardham Yatra. We can’t reach the temple directly by road (bus), we have to uphill trek from Gaurikund of 22 km to reach the temple. It provides a beautiful sight of Ghati, the river, and the snow peak.
