The ideal time to visit is generally from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and sunny.  Shoulder months (September/April) can also be suitable if you can tolerate slightly warmer temperatures. Avoid the monsoon season (July-August) due to potential heavy rains.

Shekhawati boasts magnificent painted havelis (mansions) like those in Mandawa, Nawalgarh, and Fatehpur. Explore forts like Dundlod Fort and Mukundgarh Fort for a glimpse into the region's history. Don't miss cultural experiences like folk performances and delicious Rajasthani cuisine.

Taxis and auto-rickshaws are readily available in Shekhawati's major towns. For a more immersive experience, consider exploring by bicycle or rickshaw. Public buses connect the larger towns. While FWD doesn't offer car rentals in Shekhawati itself, we can help you plan transportation to and from the region.
