City Palace:
In the heart of the old city is former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. A part of this palace is now a museum. The rest of the palace serves as the living quarters of the royal family of Jaipur. The palace also has an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works.
Jantar Mantar:
A stone observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh who represents his love for Astronomy, its complex instruments, whose settings and shapes are scientifically designed represent the high point of medieval India astronomy.
Later in the afternoon take you lunch and proceed to Chaksu:
Chaksu:
A small town near the city of Jaipur, Chaksu is one of the interesting place to visit near Jaipur in Rajasthan and is renowned for its old ‘havelis’ and mosques.
On your way back you will be taken to visit the famous Jain Temple in Padampura.
Padampura:
This site is located at a distance of 35 kms from Jaipur on Jaipur-Kota road. This site is famous for Jain Temple known as Digambara Jain Atishay Kshetra. It was on baishak shukla panchami samvat (1944-2001) one simple boy named Moola Jat was digging foundation for constructing his house when he struck with a stone statue. Experts later identified it as that of the Tirthankara Padmaprabha. This area has been developed as Padampura Digambar Jain Atishay kshetra.
Later return back to Jaipur.
