Flight
By Air

The nearest airport to Manali is Kullu-Manali Airport (KUU) in Bhuntar, located about 50 kilometers away. However, this airport has limited connectivity with major cities.

Alternatively, you can fly into Chandigarh Airport (IXC) or Amritsar International Airport (ATQ), which are well-connected airports. Chandigarh is around 280 kilometers from Manali, and Amritsar is approximately 360 kilometers away.

From the Airport:

Kullu-Manali Airport: Taxis and prepaid cabs are readily available to take you to Manali from the airport. The ride takes approximately 2 hours.

Chandigarh or Amritsar Airport: From these airports, you can take a taxi, opt for ride-sharing services like Ola or Uber, or choose a pre-booked car rental to reach Manali. The journey by road can take anywhere between 7-10 hours depending on traffic conditions.

Train
By Train

Manali does not have a railway station. The nearest major railway station is Chandigarh Railway Station (CDG) or Pathankot Junction (PTK) in Punjab.

From Chandigarh or Pathankot: You can take a taxi, prepaid cab, or hop on a local bus to reach Manali. The journey by road from Chandigarh takes approximately 8-10 hours, and from Pathankot, it can take 5-6 hours.
