Taj Mahotsav is not celebrated from 18th to 27th February every year. First meeting organized by the committee on Friday. But the venue and date to be decided. Taj Mahotsav will be expected due to the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
Taj Mahotsav started in the 1992 at Shilpgram. In 2012 this festival could not be determined in February 18th to 27th due to Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, or is being held these days. In the place of Shilpgram work is going to New Taj Orientation Center. At Friday evening first meeting of Taj Mahotsav festival is held at the Circuit House by Taj festival organizing committee, chaired by commissioner Chandrakant.
In year 2017, celebration of the Taj Mahotsav many suggestions is coming like Tara Ghar maidan, Kothi Meena Bazar ground, Colonel Jeet Singh Stadium, across the Yamuna where eleven ladders near the Taj View Gardens.
Vice President Ajay Yadav headed ADA committee for Physical verification of these places. The report will come in 15 days.
Date of Taj Mahotsav 2017 is announced after the election date will be fixed by the Election Commission .
The theme of 26th Taj Mahotsav will be suggested by the public. The winner will be rewarded by Rs 10,000.
It Will Take Five Years For Older Children Tickets -
In Taj Mahotsav festival, tickets for the audience will be same as the last event like Rs 50. But in this year from 5 to 12 year olds children will be charged Rs. 10 ticket. Earlier, it was no ticket for children. The group of 100 school children ticket will be Rs. 500. Stall fee shall be increased by 10% from last year.
Taj Car Rally Will Be Part Of The Festival -
Taj Car Rally will be held in Taj Mahotsav, it was decided At the meeting .
The Tourism Department of Motor Sports Club Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be held for five years. Commissioner Chandrakant instructed to Deputy Tourism Minister Dinesh Kumar, for reviewing the MOU.
